Wiremu Tāmihana

Wiremu Tamihana Tarapipipi, known as the "Kingmaker," was a significant Māori leader who helped establish the Māori King Movement by selecting the first Māori King, Pōtatau Te Wherowhero. His efforts aimed to unite Māori tribes and safeguard their lands and rights during the 19th century.
