Its been 100 years since a Maori parliament was opened at Rukumoana Marae in Morrinsville, and the public can now get a glimpse of manuscripts and photographs documenting that period of NZ History. The Kauhanganui was set up in 1860's by the then Maori King, Tawhiao, and a special building set up in 1917. Ripeka Timutimu has this story.
